I’ll teach you how to remove the AdSense ad limit if it appears on your account. The method I’ll show you is a proper working method. If you follow everything I guide you step by step, then Insha’Allah your AdSense ad limit will be removed.
Now, I don’t currently have an AdSense account with a limit, but many of my brothers have been messaging me that their accounts have ad limits, and they want a solution. So I tested and prepared this method for you.

If you ever face an issue that I haven’t already explained in my videos, and if I know about it, I always guide people.
Alright, let’s move on to the steps to remove the ad limit.
Step 1: Remove all AdSense ads and codes from your website
-
If you got an ad limit notification in AdSense, first go to Auto Ads inside AdSense and turn it OFF.
-
Then remove all AdSense codes you’ve placed:
-
If you used a plugin like Ad Inserter, go to the plugin settings, click Reset All Settings, and then clear all settings.
-
If you added
ads.txt
, go into it, delete all AdSense entries, and save. -
If you placed any header/footer codes manually, remove those too.
-
To check whether all codes are gone:
-
Visit your website after removing the codes.
-
If your AdSense dashboard still shows pageviews or impressions after 30 minutes, that means some code is still active.
-
Make sure no impressions are recorded. Only then you can move to the next step.
Step 2: Wait 7 days
Once all codes are removed, wait about 7 days. After this, the “Ad Limit” notification should disappear from your AdSense account.
Step 3: Add ads.txt
again
-
After the limit message disappears, generate a new
ads.txt
file from your AdSense account. -
Upload it back to your website.
Step 4: Send traffic to your site
-
To properly remove the ad limit, you’ll need some traffic.
-
The creator here recommends using SproutGigs to purchase real traffic (around $10 worth is enough).
-
Deposit $10, create a small job/task for workers to visit your website.
-
Set up steps like: open your website, visit the first article, scroll down, wait 30 seconds, click the next article, repeat for 5 articles.
-
This way, real people will visit multiple pages of your site.
Step 5: Add only one display ad unit
-
After a few days of traffic, create just one display ad unit in AdSense (e.g., a horizontal banner).
-
Place it on your site (in the header or footer).
-
Don’t add multiple ads, just one.
Step 6: Continue traffic for a few more days
-
Use the remaining balance from SproutGigs to buy more small batches of traffic for your site.
-
Keep this going for 10–12 days.
-
After that, your ad limit will be properly removed.
Notes:
-
If your site already has organic traffic, then you don’t need to buy traffic. Just follow the “remove codes → wait 7 days → add one ad unit” method.
-
This whole process usually takes about 10–13 days.
-
Cost: around $10 if you buy traffic.
-
Once the limit is gone, wait 2 more days, then you can set up AdSense ads normally again.
That’s the complete working method for removing the AdSense ad serving limit.
